Dear friends,
I wanted to reach out to you concerning a few updates and on how we’re approaching the COVID-19 situation at Very3. Together, we are facing a truly unprecedented situation. The global corona virus pandemic is affecting all of our families, our businesses, our communities, and our way of life. First and foremost, our hearts go out to anyone who's been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts are especially with those who are sick, to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery. We've heard concerns from our clients who are facing financial hardships during this crisis and we want you to know that under no circumstances will Very3 suspend any service for non-payment during these trying times. Navigating the challenges of operating a small business is hard enough right now and the last thing you need to worry about is your website. Stay safe and take care of your families -- that's priority one.
On a lighter note, over the coming weeks we'll be rolling out updates to the Very3 Shared Application Framework (v3saf). The bulk of these updates are quarterly, run-of-the-mill updates to existing services but there's one new feature we're really stoked about: Site metric reporting. Going forward, you'll be able to access your Very3 Hosted Solution site traffic metric data by simply adding the word "reports" to the end of your domain's URL. To reach your domain's reports page, just visit your site, tap or click in the URL bar, and add "/reports" to the end of the URL. We'll also be integrating report links into all Very3 site admin panels. For you data geeks out there, this is the same metrics we use internally for server optimization and for gauging the results of indexing algorithms and advertising campaigns. We do not anticipate any down-time for these updates
This roll-out will include:
- Updates to EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance
- Updates to Yandex multi/sub domain URL indexing
- Updates for OpenSearch descriptors
- New site traffic analysis & reporting modules
As always, thank you for your trust.
Mark
